We have decided to turn our Den into a home theater room.  Here are some photos of the demolition:

March 05:  We had some friends come by and help us put in some 2"x12"x20' support beams.  We were able to support the ceiling better and take out the post!  Here is what it looked like after they left:

Feb 22nd:  We didn't want the big support post in our new theater room, so our great friend Matt came by and inspected our ceiling, rafters, joists, etc....  This is what it looked like after he tore down our ceiling.  <grin>   With added supports we can take it out!

I included a photo of the wall plates.... because it takes so long to run those wires and I still have more to go!
