I wanted a tubing bender for some truck projects, but I couldn't justify spending $1500 on something I would only use once a year.  So I asked a few friends if they could use a tubing bender and I found that 10 other people wanted the same thing.  So we all donated $60 each to build a tubing bender.

We bought the plans from www.gottrikes.com, picked up the 1.75" Bending Die ( 7" radius), bought the steel, and bought an air actuated 8 ton hydraulic ram.

Last sunday we put it together.

We still have to clean it up and paint it, but it is almost done.
